Ongoing Regulation 13A compliance – do you need to amend your Key Information Documents?

  • The requirement for employment businesses to provide Key Information Documents (KID) to workseekers has been in place since April 2020, governed by the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses (Amendment) Regulations 2019
  • What employment businesses may have forgotten is that there is an ongoing requirement to make changes to a KID, where necessary, even if it has already been presented to the workseeker
  • Whilst a new KID does not need to be provided each time an agency worker begins a new assignment, a revised KID does have to be provided when the facts reflected in the KID change
  • For example, the introduction of a new deduction, a change in pay frequency or change of intermediary/umbrella company paying the agency worker
